Zoo Fun

This Sunday we spent a few hours at the zoo. It was the perfect day for the zoo, and we had a fantastic time together as a family.

The best part of the zoo this time.
It seems like there is a *new* highlight of the zoo with each trip we make. This time there were several "wild" geese. Wild meaning they weren't caged "normal" zoo animals. They roamed free. We always take a little bread to the zoo with us for just such occasions. This time I brought it to feed the big fish in the lake, but with so many feathered friends eagerly awaiting a starchy morsel we used all of our 5 pieces before ever reaching the lake. There were pairs of geese with lots of babies all over the zoo. It seemed like every time we turned around we saw a pair and their babies. We could have used up an entire loaf of bread. Ryan loved the geese. He thought it was great to be able to drop a tiny piece of bread right at his feet and have several babies swarm around him while the big geese ate out of our hands. He LOVED the geese and their babies. So did I.
"Flirting"
(to put it mildly)
