Monumental Firsts...
with a "One time only" clause. Okay, so many of you know that a short time back Ryan walked across the room. It was exciting...and....it was a one time only deal. Of course we know he will start walking before too long, but he sure did give us a pretty good tease the other day. Of other important firsts, Ryan actually ate out of a sippy cup the other day. We were waiting at the hospital (Papa Donnie had surgery) and he started playing with a sippy cup that had a little juice in it. I decided to fill it with some pediasure just to see what he would do. He sucked it dry in no time at all! This is huge! Of course...he only did it once, and I've offered him a sippy cup of milk and even pediasure again of which he looks at me like I'm crazy. Oh well...I guess I'll keep washing these bottles for a little while longer. Ugh.
That's a Tight Spot!
For some reason this is one of Ryan's favorite places. He thoroughly enjoys squeezing between the chair and couch to get to the table, a spot my thigh won't even squeeze through. Somehow he gets there, and invariably he ends up hollering when he can't bend over to pick up whatever he knocked off the table. He just doesn't understand why he doesn't fit bent over when he fits fine standing up.
